Processors range from 2.3 GHz quad-core to 2.6 GHz hex-core and 128 to 512GB. Memory goes up to 16GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage.

Apple laptops and netbooks dated 2015 and later all feature retina or TruTone displays. These screens offer a pixelation so small that the naked eye cannot discern singular pixel boxes. Each new netbook or laptop will come with a rechargeable battery and charge cord. External ports will allow access to memory storage, a wireless mouse, or other accessory devices. Apple keyboards feature backlighting for night use, Apple function keys and soft-touch functionality to make keystroke activation simple. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi functionality is available for each of these devices.

While Apple made its mark in the portable computer world in the '90s and early '00s by offering computers and laptops in bright colors, many of the models from 2015 and later are only found in neutral hues.
